I don’t. And I haven’t for the past few years.
After years of struggling to keep my resolutions, I’ve come to realize that I have earned more success with setting annual intentions, rather than short-term resolutions.
So, I’m excited to introduce this year’s intention to you! It’s to Prosper & Flow. All year, I plan on operating in a natural flow in alignment with my Purpose. I’m surrendering all of this year’s plans, whether personal, professional, spiritual, or physical, to these 2 simple words. Prosper & Flow.
Every December 31st, I watch well-intentioned people set up their resolutions for the new year. And to be honest, most of those people have completely forgot or given up on their resolutions after only 90 days. For years, I was one of those people. But not anymore!
Setting an annual intention allows me to focus exclusively on my intention, while also allowing room for flexibility as the year progresses and I evolve. I compare my agenda with my intention on a daily basis. If something on my agenda doesn’t match with my annual intention, I’ll reassess that specific goal.
As a result of this year’s theme, I’ve refined all my to-do lists and made room for more things that sync with my Purpose. I firmly believe that if we always stay in alignment with our Purpose, then Prosperity & Flow will become very natural.
How about you?
Do you have an intention for this upcoming year? In what areas of your daily routine can you create more space to access the natural flow of life?
It was through abandoning my reliance on New Year’s Resolutions and focusing instead on intention that I found myself in a place where I could discover my Principles of Prosperity. These principles have blessed my life and business beyond measure. Part of my Purpose is to help entrepreneurs like yourself discover the secrets to prosperity as well.
